leer Play Album Discography Biography
We couldn't resist revisiting one of our favorite (and most popular) songs - a song of peace which continues to inspire us. Fans will notice some subtle lyric changes reflective of how the world has changed since we first started performing it around 1990. "The Messiah will come this year" is now "we need the Messiah this year" and now "all peoples" will be able to live (in peace) in the land of Israel. We also encouraged Josh to channel his inner khazn (high cantorial spirit) and join in, which led him to insightfully interpolate the words of the traditional song Ani Maamin: "I believe with perfect faith in the coming of the Messiah, and even though he may tarry I will wait every day for him to come."
