Kuseniseni is a song that is telling the story about the years when we were not really free to play our traditional music. Kuseniseni means very early in the morning at dawn. A member in charge at a police station was hearing music very early in the morning and was talking to a general officer, will you please go there and tell them to stop it. He arrived at the place, the police officer got possessed by his ancestor as soon as he set foot in the house where mbira was being played. The spirit did not leave him until daybreak. Before the ancestor left he told the people to tell his medium (the police officer) to go and resign. So, the music was playing until daybreak and the officer could not stop the music. It is a true story.
