It is a song for drums not for mbira. While I was growing up, there was a sound inside me. It was so loud I thought other people could hear it. It grew up with me for years, I was used to the sound of that drum, so I was imitating it on everything. I had not seen a drum up to 8 years of age, because where I was living drums and mbira were not allowed, we were living under the rule of the Roman Catholic Mission in Mhondoro. So, I heard the drums when I was 8 years old, my grandfather had moved from that region to another region called Masembura. So, this song is about baboons. The baboons behave like human beings. And if you respect the nature they respect you as well. This song is to praise the baboons.
