Salamat meet Les Musiciens du Nil
Afro Nubian All Stars: Three of the biggest names in Cairo's music scene came together for a studio session after their tumultuous reception at the Heimatklänge Festival in Berlin. Vocalist Matqual, one of the great masters of traditional Egyptian music, Selma, popular star guest at Nubian weddings in Cairo and newcomer Ahmed Fathy, member of a well known music dynasty and all of twelve years of age at the time of these recordings join the group Salamat for a churning session. A top class joint venture!
